بحضور المحافظ ورئيس الجامعة.. إطلاق مبادرة “جمِّل جامعتك بغرس شجرة”

انطلقت صباح اليوم مبادرة ١٠٠ مليون شجرة الرئاسية بجامعة السويس، وذلك بحضور اللواء أ.ح طارق حامد الشاذلي محافظ السويس، أ.د. أشرف حنيجل رئيس جامعة السويس، السادة نواب رئيس الجامعة وعمداء الكليات، وذلك على هامش اجتماع مجلس جامعة السويس الشهري.

وفي افتتاح اجتماع مجلس الجامعة أكد “حنيجــــــــــل” على الدعم الكامل والثقة المطلقة في كافة الإجراءات والتدابير والقرارات التي يتخذها فخامة السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية فيما يتعلق بالموقف المصري في مختلف القضايا.

وأشار رئيس جامعة السويس على التوجيهات الرئاسية بضرورة تطوير الإنسان المصري من خلال تبادل الخبرات وتنفيذ المشروعات التي تسهم في تحقق التنمية المستدامة والحفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية، التي كانت دافعًا لاطلاق الجامعة لمبادرة “جمِّل جامعتك بغرس شجرة ” حيث سيتم البدء بتفضل السيد المحافظ ورئيس الجامعة بغرس شجرة وكذا كافة أعضاء المجلس كإشارة إلى توجيه الأجيال القادمة لأهمية قيمة العمل للمستقبل، كي تكون نواة لجعل مدينة السويس مدينة خضراء.

وأوضح رئيس الجامعة الى ترحيب الجامعة بالتعاون مع محافظة السويس بشأن الاهتمام بذوي الإعاقة بالمحافظة، وتفعيل عدد من الندوات والفعاليات التوعوية والتثقيفية لخدمة الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة بالجامعة وذلك بالتنسيق مع مركز رعاية الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة بالجامعة، مشيرا إلى أن المركز مستمر في تقديم خدماته بشكل متواصل على الرغم من تعليق الدعم الوارد من الوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية.

كما وجه رئيس الجامعة الشكر للسيد المحافظ لجهودة في تخصيص الأرض لمستشفى الجامعة، وأشار رئيس الجامعة الى اخر المستجدات في ملف إنشاء جامعة السويس الأهلية، التي ستضم كليات طب الاسنان، العلاج الطبيعي، هندسة البترول والتعدين، الحاسبات والمعلومات والذكاء الاصطناعي، العلوم، اللغات والعلوم الإنسانية، الاقتصاد والإدارة والعلوم السياسية، الفنون التطبيقية والتي ستبدأ برامج أكاديمية متطورة ومتميزة كمزيج من كليات الهندسة والتكنولوجيا والإعلام والتربية الفنية.

وقد وجه السيد اللواء أ.ح محافظ السويس التحية لرئيس الجامعة والسادة أعضاء المجلس مؤكدًا على ضرورة الوعي الصحيح من كافة أبناء الوطن بحقيقة الموقف المصري الذي لن يحد عن طريق الحق.

ثم انتقل السيد المحافظ ورئيس الجامعة والسادة أعضاء المجلس إلى حديقة الجامعة لغرس شجرة باسم كل عضو من الأعضاء مؤكدين على أهمية البناء والعطاء للأجيال.

Launch of the “Beautify Your University by Planting a Tree” Initiative in Line with the Presidential “100 Million Trees” Campaign

This morning, the presidential 100 Million Trees initiative was launched at Suez University, in the presence of Major General Tarek Hamed El-Shazly, Governor of Suez, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, along with the university’s vice presidents, deans of faculties, and other officials. The event took place on the sidelines of the university’s monthly council meeting.

At the opening of the council meeting, Prof. Dr. Heniegal reaffirmed full support and absolute confidence in all the measures, decisions, and policies taken by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi regarding Egypt’s stance on various national and international issues.

The President of Suez University emphasized the presidential directives to develop Egyptian society through the exchange of expertise and the implementation of projects that contribute to sustainable development and the preservation of natural resources. These directives inspired the launch of the university’s initiative, “Beautify Your University by Planting a Tree”. The initiative was officially inaugurated by the Governor and the University President, who planted the first tree, followed by all council members. This act symbolizes guiding future generations toward the value of work and environmental sustainability, aiming to establish Suez as a green city.

Prof. Dr. Heniegal also expressed the university’s willingness to collaborate with the Governorate of Suez to support people with disabilities. He highlighted the university’s ongoing efforts to organize awareness seminars and educational events for students with disabilities in coordination with the University’s Disability Support Center. Despite the suspension of USAID funding, the center continues to provide services uninterrupted.

Additionally, Prof. Dr. Heniegal extended gratitude to the Governor of Suez for his efforts in allocating land for the University Hospital. He also provided updates on the establishment of Suez National University, which will include faculties of Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Sciences, Languages and Humanities, Economics and Political Science, and Applied Arts. These faculties will offer innovative and interdisciplinary academic programs, combining engineering, technology, media, and fine arts education.

In his address, Major General El-Shazly commended the University President and council members, emphasizing the importance of national awareness and Egypt’s unwavering commitment to justice and truth.

Following the meeting, the Governor, University President, and council members proceeded to the university garden, where each member planted a tree as a symbol of commitment to progress and sustainability for future generations.
