أعلنت هيئة ميناء الإسكندرية في بيان تعرض مدينة الإسكندرية هذا العام إلى 18 نوة، قد تتأخر في أيام أو تتقدم في أيام، ويمكن أن تأتي بظواهر مختلفة ، حيث تؤثر المتغيرات المناخية في شدة النوات كل عام، وبعد أيام قليلة تستقبل الإسكندرية نوة المكنسة، وهي من النوات التي يصاحبها أمطار متوسطة إلى خفيفة على فترات متقطعة، وانخفاض في درجات الحرارة.
ويسود طقس خريفي معتدل نهاراً ومائل للبرودة ليلاً ، إلا أن هناك توقعات بانخفاض درجات الحرارة من ٣ الي ٤ درجات خلال الأيام القادمة لتصل إلى 26 درجة، مع وجود تغيرات في سرعة الرياح والتي قد تصل إلى 10 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع أمواج البحر ما بين 1 إلى 1.5 متر.
تتعرض كل عام للعديد من النوات، وخصوصاً في فصلي الخريف والشتاء.
وتأتي نوة “المكنسة” في منتصف شهر نوفمبر كل عام، وتبدأ عادة في يوم 16 نوفمبر، وتستمر لمدة 4 أيام، وتأتي على شكل رياح شمالية غربية شديدة الأمطار إلى متوسطة، وسُميت المكنسة لأنها تكنس البحر على حسب قول الصيادين، وتأتي بعدها نوة تسمى نوة “باقي المكنسة”، وتستمر لمدة 4 أيام يصاحبها رياح جنوبية غربية هذه المرة، تأتي بعدها مجموعة من النوات بأمطار غزيرة إلى سديدة ورياح عاتية تتسبب في وقف حركة الملاحة والصيد.
