“جامعة السويس ومكتبة الإسكندرية توقعان بروتوكول تعاون مشترك”

وقعت جامعة السويس، اليوم، بروتوكول تعاون مع مكتبة الإسكندرية، وذلك بهدف تعزيز التعاون وتوفير المعرفة لطلاب وباحثي الجامعة. وقد وقّع البروتوكول عن الجامعة أ.د.أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل، رئيس جامعة السويس، وعن المكتبة أ.د. أحمد زايد_مدير مكتبة الإسكندرية، وذلك بحضور أ.د. شريف فهمي_القائم بأعمال نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، أ.د. أشرف فراج_مدير سفارة المعرفة، وأ.د. محمد الشاهد_مدير المكتبة الرقمية بالجامعة.

في بداية المراسم رحب أ.د. مدير مكتبة الإسكندرية بالسيد أ.د.رئيس الجامعة والوفد المرافق، معبراً عن سعادته بهذا التعاون الذي يهدف إلى تعزيز المعرفة وتوفير مصادر علمية متقدمة لطلاب وباحثي جامعة السويس.

وفي كلمته أكد أ.د. أشرف حنيجل، رئيس جامعة السويس، أن رؤية الجامعة تسعى إلى توفير المعرفة لكافة منسوبيها من الطلاب والباحثين وأعضاء هيئة التدريس. وأوضح أن إنشاء سفارة المعرفة بجامعة السويس يأتي بهدف إتاحة قاعدة معلومات ومصادر معرفية ضخمة تتناسب مع قيمة مكتبة الإسكندرية التاريخية في توفير المعرفة للراغبين. وأشار سيادته إلى أن الانضمام إلى سفارات المعرفة الممثلة لمكتبة الإسكندرية كان هدفاً تسعى الجامعة لتحقيقه منذ سنوات، وجاء توقيع البروتوكول اليوم تتويجاً لهذه الجهود.

وأوضح سيادته أن هذا البروتوكول يهدف إلى تقديم خدمات مكتبة الإسكندرية لطلاب وباحثي جامعة السويس، مما يسهم في تعزيز البحث العلمي وتوفير مصادر معرفية متقدمة، كما يهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون بين المؤسستين لتحقيق التميز الأكاديمي ودعم الابتكار.

وأكد “رئيس الجامعة” في كلمته على أن كافة هذه الجهود تنبع من ثقة فخامة السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية، في عقول منسوبي المجتمع الأكاديمي بصفتهم طوق النجاة وسبيل تقدم الأمم. كما نوه رئيس الجامعة عن الاستراتيجية الوطنية للتعليم العالي والبحث العلمي التي تتيح للجميع أهمية الحصول على المعرفة والوصول إلى أحدث المعلومات والتقنيات.

ثم أشاد “حنيجــــــــــل” بجهود معالي مدير مكتبة الإسكندرية، أ.د. أحمد زايد، وتوجه له بالتهنئة بمناسبة تكليف سيادته بقيادة المكتبة. كما أعرب عن تقديره لكافة القائمين على المكتبة في نشر العلم والمعرفة، مؤكداً أن هذه الجهود تعكس ثقة القيادة السياسية في عقول منسوبي المجتمع الأكاديمي.

في ختام الحفل أعرب الجميع عن سعادتهم بهذا التعاون والتأكيد على استمرارية العمل المشترك لتحقيق الأهداف المشتركة في نشر المعرفة وتحقيق التميز الأكاديمي.

This morning, Suez University signed a cooperation protocol with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, aimed at enhancing collaboration and providing knowledge resources for the university’s students and researchers. The protocol was signed on behalf of the university by Prof. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, and on behalf of the library by Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Sherif Fahmy, Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ashraf Farag, Director of the Knowledge Embassy, and Prof. Mohamed El-Shahed, Director of the Digital Library at the university.

At the outset of the ceremony, the Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina welcomed the President of Suez University and the accompanying delegation, expressing his pleasure with this collaboration aimed at enhancing knowledge and providing advanced scientific resources for the students and researchers of Suez University.

In his speech, Prof. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, emphasized that the university’s vision seeks to provide knowledge to all its members, including students, researchers, and faculty. He explained that establishing a Knowledge Embassy at Suez University aims to grant access to a vast database and knowledge resources, aligning with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s historical role in disseminating knowledge. He highlighted that joining the network of Knowledge Embassies affiliated with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina has been a goal the university has pursued for years, and today’s protocol signing represents the culmination of these efforts.

Prof. Heniegal further explained that the protocol seeks to offer Bibliotheca Alexandrina services to the students and researchers of Suez University, contributing to the enhancement of scientific research and providing advanced knowledge resources. It also aims to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions to achieve academic excellence and support innovation.

In his speech, the university president stressed that these efforts stem from the confidence of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the intellectual capabilities of the academic community, viewing them as the key to progress and the salvation of nations. He also noted the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, which underscores the importance of providing access to knowledge, up-to-date information, and modern technologies for everyone.

Prof. Heniegal concluded by commending the efforts of the Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Prof. Ahmed Zayed, congratulating him on his appointment as the library’s leader. He expressed his appreciation for all those working at the library for their role in disseminating science and knowledge, emphasizing that these efforts reflect the political leadership’s confidence in the academic community.

At the end of the ceremony, all attendees expressed their happiness with this collaboration and affirmed the commitment to continued joint efforts to achieve shared goals in disseminating knowledge and achieving academic excellence.
