إشارة دولية في عالم الاستغاثة
أطلق هذا الاسم مؤسس مدرسة النمسا لرعاية الأطفال فاقدي أسرهم “هيرمان جامينا” أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية وذلك لإنقاذهم ورعايتهم أسريا، لتصبح بمرور الوقت منظمة عالمية بها ما يقرب من 220 فرع في كافة أنحاء العالم تقدم الرعاية للأطفال فاقدي اسرهم وهويتهم.
وقد حظيت مصر منذ عام 2007 بالمشاركة مع المنظمة الدولية لرعاية الأطفال في إنشاء وتأسيس ثلاثة أفرع تحت إشراف وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية، ووزارة التضامن الاجتماعي في محافظات القاهرة، الإسكندرية، وطنطا.
تستوعب كل قرية ما يقرب من مائة طفل من فاقدي أسرهم بمختلف الأعمار، والذين يتم توزيعهم على دور الرعاية من “هيئة إنقاذ الطفولة” بالتعاون مع وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية.
تقبل القرية الأطفال من سن يوم وحتى 25 عام، وذلك بالتنسيق مع وزارات الشؤون الاجتماعية، التضامن، والإسكان.
تنقسم القرية إلى وحدات رعاية متكاملة تسمى بفيلات، بنظام الأم البديلة لتقوم على خدمة الأطفال داخل الوحدة سواء ذكور أو إناث لتقدم لهم الرعاية من مأكل، مشرب، ملبس، ودراسة، ويشرف على الأطفال بالقرية الأب الروحي والقائم بأعمال القرية في الإسكندرية ومساعديه من اخصائيات واخصائيين اجتماعيين.
خلال سنوات الرعاية يتعلم الأطفال حرفة أو مهنة إلي جانب تعليمهم الأساسي فيختار الذكور تعلم احدى الحرف سوآءا أكانت نجارة، خراطة، تصفيف وقص الشعر، زراعة، او صيانة الأجهزة المحمولة والحاسبات الالية، بينما تختار الإناث تعلم إحدى المهارات من خياطة، تطريز، كروشيه، او تريكو داخل المشغل بالقرية.
وتدعم وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية الشباب والشابات ماديا أيضا، حيث يستمر الدعم المادي للشاب حتى عمر 25 عاما وللفتاة حتى سن الزواج، كما تخصص الوزارة دفتر توفير لكل طفل بالرعاية ويسمح له بالتصرف في مدخراته عند وصول الشاب او الفتاة لعمر واحد وعشرين عاما.
كما خصصت وزارة الإسكان بالتنسيق مع وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية وحدات سكنية منفردة لراغبي زواج من شباب القرية.
ولكن!
من أكبر التحديات التي يواجها الشباب والفتيات فاقدي الرعاية الأسرية عدم قدرتهم على الاندماج في المجتمع بشكل كامل أو الزواج وتكوين حياة اسرية طبيعية، لذا نظمت “هيئة إنقاذ الطفولة” تحت رعاية وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية مبادرة بعنوان “أنا موجود من غير شرطة_ ” بالشراكة مع دور الرعاية بمصر وجاءت علي راسهم قرية ” SOS” لتكون نموذجا يحتذي به لدعم المبادرة.
ودعما لفكرة المبادرة، توجه وفد من اعضاء اللجنة الاجتماعية لجمعية أصدقاء مكتبة الإسكندرية بزيارة القرية بالعامرية، لتقديم يد العون المادي و المعنوي للأطفال, برعاية السيد أ/ حمدان القاضي، المدير التنفيذي للجمعية.

“SOS”
An international signal in the world of distress
This name was given by the founder of the Austrian School for the Care of Children Without Their Family, Hermann Gamine, during World War II in order to rescue and care for them as a family.
Over time, it became a global organization with approximately 220 branches all over the world that provides care for children who have lost their families and their identity.
Since 2007, Egypt has participated in International childcare foundation and established three branches under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the governorates of Cairo, Alexandria, and Tanta.
Each village accommodates approximately one hundred children of various ages who have lost their families, and who are distributed to care homes from the “Save the Children Authority” in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs.
The village accepts children from one day to 25 years old, in coordination with the Ministries of Social Affairs, Solidarity, and Housing.
The village is divided into integrated care units called villas, with a surrogate mother system to serve the children within the unit, whether male or female, to provide them with care such as food, drink, clothing, and education. The children in the village are supervised by the spiritual father and the caretaker of the village, besides his assistants of specialists and social workers. .
During the years of care, children learn a craft or profession in addition to their basic education. Males choose to learn one of the crafts, whether it is carpentry, lathe, hairdressing and cutting, agriculture, or maintenance of mobile devices and computers, while females choose to learn one of the skills such as sewing, embroidery, crochet, or Knitting inside the workshop in the village.
The Ministry of Social Affairs also supports young men and women financially, where the support continues for young men until the age of 25 and for girls until the age of marriage. The Ministry also allocates a savings book for each sponsored child and allows them to dispose of their savings when they reach the age of twenty-one.
The Ministry of Housing, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs, also allocated individual housing units for young people from the village wishing to marry.
But!
One of the major challenges faced by young men and girls who lack family care is their inability to fully integrate into society or get married and form a normal family life. Therefore, Save the Children, under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs, organized an initiative entitled “I Exist Without the dash_” in partnership with care homes. In Egypt, led by the “SOS” village, to be a role model for supporting the initiative.
supporting the idea of the initiative, a delegation of members of the Social Committee of Alexandria Library Friends Association visited the village in Amriya, to provide material and moral assistance to children, under the auspices of Mr. Hamdan Al-Qadi, Executive Director of the Association.
