تدفق سياحي هائل علي قلعة قايتباي

شهدت قلعة قايتباي، الإسكندرية توافد اعداد كبيرة من الأفواج السياحية التي تضم مصريين، وأجانب، و رحلات اليوم الواحد، خلال الايام القليلة الماضية.
حيث توافدت افواج سياحية متعددة الجنسيات بأعداد كبيرة، لزيارة القلعة، التي تعد من أشهر المناطق الأثرية بمدينة ، بمنطقة بحري بالإسكندرية،
والتي شيدت علي أثر انعدام مكتبة الإسكندرية قديما علي أثر زلزال مدمر عام 702هجرية، في عهد السلطان الناصر محمد بن قلاوون،وبدأ تشييد وبنا القلعة السلطان الاشرف قايتباي عام882 هجرية.
وانتهي من بناءها884 هجرية. جدير بالذكر انه قد تم التنسيق ما بين مديرية الآثار بالإسكندرية، وعلي راسها د. محمد متولي مدير عام الآثار بالإسكندرية،
و بين المهندسة نهى خليفة رئيس حى الجمرك، لرفع المخلفات بالقلعة حرصا علي إظهار المنطقة الأثرية، بالمظهر الحضاري اللائق. Massive tourist influx to Qaitbay Citadel Written and translated by: Dr. Sherine Hashem Qaitbay Citadel, Alexandria, witnessed the influx of large numbers of tourist groups, including Egyptians, foreigners, and one-day trips, in the past few days. Multinational tourist groups flocked in large numbers to visit the citadel, which is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the city, in the Bahri region of Alexandria. It was built as a result of the absence of the Library of Alexandria in the past, following a devastating earthquake in the year 702 AH, during the reign of Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Qalawun. Construction and building of the citadel by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay in 882 AH and its construction was completed in 884 AH. It is worth noting that coordination took place between the Directorate of Antiquities in Alexandria, headed by Dr. Mohamed Metwally, Director General of Antiquities in Alexandria, and Engineer Noha Khalifa, Head of the Customs District, to remove the waste from the citadel area in order to show the archaeological scenes in a decent and civilized appearance.
