تستعيد الإسكندرية مكانتها السياحية بعد افتتاح المتحف اليوناني الروماني

بعد أقل من أسبوعين على افتتاحه رسميا يجذب المتحف اليوناني الروماني بالإسكندرية وفودا سياحية أجنبية ومصرية وعربية للتعرف على المقتنيات الأثرية المعروضة ب 44 فاترينة عرض في نظام العرض المتحفي وتسلسل العصور عبر تاريخ مصر، وقد استقبل المتحف نخبة من الشخصيات الهامة ورجال الدين من أبرزهم السفير “نيقولاس هنري” سفير دولة الفاتيكان في مصر والوفد المرافق له للتعرف على مقتنيات المتحف كما استقبل رئيس اتحاد المصورين العرب دكتور / خالد خضر الذي قضى أكثر من 50 عاما في التصوير.
بينما زار المتحف مجموعة من طلاب المدارس الدولية والخاصة لغات للتعرف على القطع الأثرية وسيناريو العرض حيث أشاد بشرح الأثريين وحسن الاستقبال والضيافة, في حين دي أرسل نادي سموحة الرياضي بالإسكندرية وفد من اللجنة الثقافية للتعرف على أهم المعروضات النادرة والقطع الفريدة والاستماع إلى الشرح المفصل لتاريخ المتحف والعرض المتحفي الموضح بتسلسل تاريخي, فضلا عن زيارة قام بها مجموعة من طلاب قسم الاثار و الدراسات اليونانية و الرومانية وعلى راسهم الدكتورة / فتحية جابر رئيس القسم, لدراسة بعض القطع الاثرية وحقبتها التاريخية.
جدير بالذكر، ان المتحف يحتوي علي 6000 قطعة اثرية يتم عرضها من خلال 44 فاترينة عرض زجاجية، و يتكون المتحف من طابقين، الطابق الأرضي يضم 27 قاعة عرض بنظام التسلسل التاريخي للقطع، بالإضافة الي الطابق الأول و الذى يتم فيه عرض متحفى للقطع الاثرية في شكل موضوعي على مساحة كبيرة بالمتحف.
ماشي تمام العرض على قطع أثرية من قبل عصر الإسكندر الأكبر مرورا بالملوك والملكات وحتى الدولة البطلمية كما يحتوي المتحف على معبودات مصرية وأخرى يونانية ورومانية، وتعرض بعض القاعات طرق دفن الموتى عبر العصور وكذلك بعض التوابيت المهمة في تاريخ الإسكندرية.
يذكر ان المتحف اليوناني الروماني يفتح ابوابه امام الجمهور طوال أيام الأسبوع من 9:00 صباحا الى 5:00 مساء، فيما يغلق مكتب التذاكر الساعة 4:30 مساء.
Alexandria regains its tourist status after the opening of the Greco-Roman Museum

In Less than two weeks after its official opening, the Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria attracts foreign, Egyptian and Arab tourist delegations to learn about the archaeological collections displayed in 44 display cases in the display system and the sequence of eras throughout Egypt’s history. The museum received an elite group of important figures and clerics, the most prominent of whom is Ambassador “Nicholas Henry”, Ambassador of the Vatican State to Egypt, and his accompanying delegation, to learn about the museum’s holdings. The museum also received the President of the Arab Photographers Union, Dr. Khaled Khader, who spent more than 50 years in photographing.
While a group of students from international and private language schools visited the museum to learn about the artifacts and the display scenario, where they praised the archaeologists’ explanation and the good reception and hospitality, while the Smouha Sports Club in Alexandria sent a delegation from the Cultural Committee to learn about the most important rare exhibits and unique pieces and listen to a detailed explanation of the history of the museum and the display.
The museum is set in a historical sequence, in addition to a visit by a group of students from the Department of Archeology and Greek and Roman Studies, led by Dr. Fathia Jaber, Head of the Department, to study some of the artifacts and their historical era.
It is worth noting that the museum contains 6,000 antiquities that are displayed through 44 glass display cases. The museum consists of two floors. The ground floor includes 27 exhibition halls with a historical sequence system for the objects, in addition to the first floor, in which a museum display of antiquities takes place in a large area in the museum.
The entire display includes artifacts from before the era of Alexander the Great, through kings and queens, and even the Ptolemaic Empire. The museum also contains Egyptian, Greek, and Roman deities, and some halls display methods of burying the dead throughout the ages, as well as some important coffins in the history of Alexandria.
It is noteworthy that the Greco-Roman Museum opens its doors to the public seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the ticket office closes at 4:30 pm.
