خطة اخلاء موجات تسونامي
في إطار اهتمام محافظة الإسكندرية بالتوعية للحد من المخاطر الطبيعية التي تهدد السواحل المصرية.
بدأت محافظة الإسكندرية بالتنسيق مع لجنة OCI التابعة لليونسكو و المعهد القومي لعلوم البحار و المصايد و مديرية التربية والتعليم بالإسكندرية، تنظيم سلسلة من حملات التوعية التي تجوب المدارس لتدريب الطلاب علي خطة الإخلاء في حال وجود موجات تسونامي.
أشار المحافظ لواء محمد الشريف، الي ان التدريب بدأ الأحد ٥ نوفمبر ٢٠٢٣، بمدرسة سان مارك التابعة لإدارة وسط التعليمية، لقربها من خط الساحل بمنطقة الشاطبى ، وتم تدريب الطلاب علي خطة الإخلاء في حال تعرضت المدرسة لموجات تسونامي، وتنفيذ نموذج محاكاة لتدريب الطلاب علي أماكن الخروح، بالإضافة إلي ندوة لتعريف الطلاب كل ما يتعلق موجات التسونامي من معلومات وكيفية التعامل حال وقوعها، وقد شارك في التدريب إدارة الأزمات والكوارث بالمحافظة ،ووحدة الإسعاف ،وجميع الجهات الحكومية المختصة.
شهد التدريب د. عبير السحري، نائب رئيس المعهد القومي لعلوم البحار والمصايد ، ود. سوزان الغرباوي نائب رئيس اللجنة الحكومية لعلوم المحيطات الأفريقية باليونيسكو، و المهندسة نيفين الليثي مسؤول ملف التغييرات المناخية بالمحافظة، ووجه حنا الياس مدير مدرسة سان مارك، ووليد مرسي مدير إدارة الأزمات والكوارث بالمحافظة.
الجدير بالذكر أن الأحد ٥ نوفمبر، هو اليوم العالمي للتوعية بأمواج تسونامي، الذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة ،والغرض من هذا اليوم هو زيادة الوعي المجتمعي بأهمية الاستعداد للحد من مخاطر أمواج تسونامي وتعزيز تأهب المجتمعات.
Within the framework of Alexandria Governorate’s interest in raising awareness to reduce the natural dangers that threaten the Egyptian coasts.
Alexandria Governorate, in coordination with the OCI Committee of UNESCO, the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, and the Alexandria Directorate of Education, began organizing a series of awareness campaigns that tour schools to train students on the evacuation plan in the event of a tsunami.
The Governor, Major General Muhammad Al-Sharif, indicated that the training began on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Saint Mark’s School, affiliated with the Central Educational Administration, due to its proximity to the coastline in the Shatby area. The students were trained on the evacuation plan in the event that the school was exposed to tsunami waves, and a simulation model was implemented to train the students on places. Al-Kharouh, in addition to a symposium to introduce students to all information related to tsunami waves and how to deal with them when they occur. The governorate’s Crisis and Disaster Management Department, the ambulance unit, and all competent government agencies participated in the training.
The training was witnessed by Dr. Abeer Al-Sahri, Vice President of the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, and Dr. Suzan Al-Gharbawi, Vice-President of the Intergovernmental Commission for African Ocean Sciences at UNESCO, Engineer Nevin Al-Laithi, responsible for the climate change file in the governorate, Wajeh Hanna Elias, Director of St. Mark’s School, and Walid Morsi, Director of Crisis and Disaster Management in the governorate.
It is worth noting that Sunday, November 5, is World Tsunami Awareness Day, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. The purpose of this day is to increase community awareness of the importance of preparing to reduce the risks of tsunamis and enhance the preparedness of communities.
