لجنة التجارة الدولية تقرر حظر بيع أحدث ساعات الآيفون الذكي بدأ من الغد ٢٦ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٣
اتخذت لجنة التجارة الدولية الأمريكية في أكتوبر، قرار بحظر عملاق الآيفون بيع أحدث ساعاته الذكية بعد إدانته فيالدعوى القضائية المقامة من جانب شركة ماسيمو المتخصصة فيتطوير التقنيات الطبية، والتي تتهم خلالها أبل بأنها انتهكتمجموعة من براءات الاختراع التي اعتمد عليها تطوير مزايا قياسنسبة الأكسجين في الدم في ساعات أبل ووتش.
عندما تفتح متاجر أبل بالولايات المتحدة أبوابها بعد عيد الميلاد، لنيجد زوارها ساعات أبل ووتش 9 أو أبل ووتش ألترا 2 متوفرة،فابتداءً من 26 ديسمبر، سيكون من المحظور بيع أحدث ساعاتالشركة الأميركية في جميع متاجرها بالولايات المتحدة وفقاً لأمرقضائي.
وكانت أبل قد أوقفت بيع ساعات أبل ووتش 9 وأبل ووتش ألترا 2 عبر موقعها الإلكتروني بداية من 21 ديسمبر الجاري.
وحتى 24 ديسمبر كان هناك أمل لأبل أن تخرج من تلك الأزمة التيمن المتوقع أن تكلفها خسائر تصل إلى 5 مليارات دولار من حجمالمبيعات الإجمالي لمنتجاتها سنوياً لهذا العام، إذا تدخل الرئيسالأميركي جو بايدن لوقف تطبيق قرار اللجنة الأميركية إلا أن الرياحجرت بما لا تشتهي أبل.
كما رفضت اللجنة طلب أبل بتأجيل تطبيق قرار الحظر، لحين النظرفي طلبها المقدم إلى محكمة الاستئناف العليا الأميركية، لإعادةالنظر في دعوى ماسيمو.
وكان المدير التنفيذي لشركة ماسيمو قد أكد خلال لقائه التلفزيونيمع بلومبرغ بأن شركته منفتحة لتسوية الدعوى، إلا أنه أوضح أنهلكي يتم الأمر يجب أولاً على إدارة أبل أن تتواصل مع إدارةماسيمو للتوصل لاتفاق يرضي جميع الأطراف.
وكان عملاق الآيفون يعمل خلال الأسابيع الماضية على إطلاقتحديث برمجي يغير طريقة جمع بيانات تشبع الدم بالأكسجينوتحليلها على ساعات آبل ووتش الذكية في محاولة لتفادي الوقوعفي الحظر، إلا أن مدير ماسيمو أوضح حينها أن التحديثاتالبرمجية لن تكون كافية لحل النزاع؛ لأن براءات الاختراع المملوكةلشركته تنطوي على تصاميم وأفكار لمكونات مادية استعانت بها أبلفي تصنيع مستشعر الأكسجين في ساعتها.
