الإسكندرية تتألق بميادينها
في إطار خطة المحافظة لتطوير الميادين والحدائق العامة وتنفيذا لتوجيهات القيادة السياسية للحد من تأثيرات التغيرات المناخية واتساقا مع رؤية مصر 2030 ,دشن المحافظ اللواء محمد الشريف محافظ الإسكندرية مسابقة بعنوان “الإسكندرية تتألق بميادينها” أول الشهر الجاري بين الأجهزة التنفيذية بالأحياء لاختيار أفضل ثلاثة ميادين على مستوى المحافظة.
وأكدت المهندسة / جيهان مسعود السكرتير العام المساعد والمشرف العام على المسابقة اتباع المعايير العلمية والحضارية في تقييم جميع الميادين المطروحة بالمسابقة، والتي تضم نخبة من الأساتذة المتخصصين من جامعة الإسكندرية بلجنة التحكيم منهم أ.د /طارق القيعي عميد كلية الزراعة الأسبق بجامعة الإسكندرية، أ.د/ محمد كشك وكيل كلية الفنون الجميلة لشؤون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، د/أسماء السيد المدرس بقسم الهندسة المعمارية كلية الهندسة.
أضافت السكرتير العام أن المسابقة يشارك بها سبع أحياء مختلفة، فشارك حي منتزه ثاني بميدان مسجد المندرة، ميدان مدارس بريليانس، حوضين أمام كارفور, مزلقان المعمورة الشاطئ بشارع الملك حفني السياحي, بالإضافة إلى سور المنتزه( الجزيرة الوسطى بمحور الشيراتون.)
أما حي منتزة أول فقد شارك بحديقة مسجد سيدي بشر وحديقة السيوف، كما شارك حي شرق بحديقة اللنبي بمنطقة كفر عبده، ميدان الموسيقى برشدي، ميدان تحيا مصر ومسطحات فلوري بمحور المحمودية، ونافورة سيدي جابر.
فضلا عن مشاركة حي وسط بميدان زويل، ميدان ساعة الزهور، مثلث أول السلطان حسين، وجزيرة مكتبة الإسكندرية أمام النجدة.
كما شارك حي الجمرك بميدان أحواض سي جل، أحواض أمام نادي الإسكندرية للبترول، حوض فرس النهر، والجزيرة الوسطى حتى أمام الأمن المركزي.
وشاركت مدينة برج العرب بميدان صينية المطار “الهوارية ” كما شاركت الإدارة العامة للحدائق المركزية بحديقة مدخل الإسكندرية الصحراوي أمام كارفور.
وقد رصد محافظ الإسكندرية مكافأة مالية للفائزين بجائزة أفضل ميدان فيحصل المركز الأول على جائزة قدرها 50,000 جنيه، و40,000 جنيه للمركز الثاني بينما يحصل المركز الثالث بجائزة قدرها 30,000 جنيه وذلك لتطوير ورفع كفاءة الميادين والحدائق العامة على نطاق محافظة الإسكندرية.
Alexandria shines with its squares
Within the framework of the governorate’s plan to develop public squares and parks and in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to reduce the effects of climate change and in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, the Governor, Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, launched a competition entitled “Alexandria shines with its squares” at the beginning of this month among the neighborhood executive agencies to choose the best three squares at the level of Governorate.
Engineer Jihan Masoud, Assistant General Secretary and General Supervisor of the competition, confirmed that scientific and cultural standards were followed in evaluating all the fields presented in the competition, which includes an elite group of specialized professors from Alexandria University on the judging committee, including Prof. Dr. Tariq Al-Qai’i, former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Alexandria University, A. Dr. Muhammad Kishk, Vice Dean of the College of Fine Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Asmaa Al-Sayyid, teacher in the Department of Architecture, College of Engineering.
The Secretary General added that seven different neighborhoods are participating in the competition. The Montazah Thani neighborhood in Mandara Mosque Square, Brilliance Schools Square, two basins in front of Carrefour, the Maamoura Beach slides on King Hafni Tourist Street, and the Montazah wall (the central island in the Sheraton axis) participated.
As for the Montazah Awal neighborhood, it participated in the Sidi Bishr Mosque Park and Al-Syouf Park, and the Sharq neighborhood participated in the Allenby Park in the Kafr Abdou area, the Roshdy Music Square, the Tahya Misr Square, the Flory Squares in the Mahmoudiyah axis, and the Sidi Gaber Fountain.
In addition to the participation of the Central District in Zewail Square, Flower Clock Square, Sultan Hussein First Triangle, and the Library of Alexandria Island in front of Najda.
The Customs District also participated in the Sea Gil Docks Square, the docks in front of the Alexandria Petroleum Club, the Hippo Basin, and the Central Gezira and even in front of Central Security.
The city of Burj Al Arab participated in the airport tray area “Al Hawariya”, and the General Administration of Central Parks participated in the park at the Alexandria desert entrance in front of Carrefour.
The Governor of Alexandria allocated a financial reward to the winners of the Best Square Award, with first place receiving a prize of 50,000 pounds, 40,000 pounds for second place, while third place received a prize of 30,000 pounds, to develop and raise the efficiency of public squares and parks throughout Alexandria Governorate.
