تسلم وزير السياحة والآثار، التقرير الذي أعدته اللجنة العلمية العليا المُشكلة لمراجعة مشروع الترميم المعماري لهرم منكاورع، حيث قررت اللجنة عدم الموافقة على إعادة تركيب أيًا من الكتل الجرانيتية حول الهرم، وأنه من المستحيل التأكد من المكان الأصلي والدقيق لهذه الكتل على جسم الهرم.
كما أبدت اللجنة موافقتها المبدئية على القيام بأعمال التنقيب الأثري للبحث عن حُفر مراكب هرم منكاورع بأسباب علمية واضحة ومفصلة تُقدم للجنة.
وأيدت اللجنة، المشروع العلمي الأثري للدراسة والرفع المساحي لهرم منكاورع، بشرط تقديم مقترح تفصيلي متكامل للمشروع يتضمن خطة عمل علمية شاملة
The High Scientific Committee of the Supreme Scientific Committee for the Review of Architectural Restoration has decided to refuse to recombine granite blocks with the pyramid of Minkaur.

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities received the report prepared by the High Scientific Committee formed to review the architectural restoration project of the Minkaur Pyramid, where the committee decided not to approve the recombination of any of the granite blocks around the pyramid, and that it is impossible to ascertain the original and accurate location of these blocks on the body of the pyramid. The Committee also agreed in principle to undertake archaeological excavations to search for pyramid rig rig rigs for clear and detailed scientific reasons provided to the Committee. The Committee endorsed the archaeological scientific project for the study and cadastral upgrading of the pyramid of Mankaur, provided that a detailed and integrated proposal for the project, including a comprehensive scientific plan of action, was submitted.
