إحياء التراث الثقافي لأقدم شوارع العالم “النبي دانيال“بالإسكندرية
بتكلفة قيمتها 103 مليون جنيه، أكد محافظ اللواء/ محمد الشريفعلى أن المشروع يتم تنفيذه بناء على استراتيجية ورؤية متكاملة لإعادة الشارع لرونقه ومظهره الحضاري والجمالي، تشمل توحيد لون الدهانات بالمباني بطول الشارع الذي يصل إلى 730 مترا، فضلا عن توحيد تصميم أكشاك بيع الكتب الممتدة بالشارع، بالإضافة إلى ترميم المباني التراثية بالشارع والتي يصل عددها لـ15 مبنى مسجل لدى مجلد التراث.
وأضاف الشريف أن المشروع يصل تكلفته إلى 103 ملايين جنيها لتوحيد الهوية البصرية بطول الشارع بإحداث التناغم بين المباني التراثية والأثرية وسوق بيع الكتب لتحويل الشارع إلى مقصد سياحي جاذب لمختلف زوار المدينة والأجانب.
وأضاف ان المحافظة تجري على قدم وساق أعمال التطوير ورفع الكفاءة لشارع النبي دانيال، الذي يتوسط المحافظة، حيث يعد الشارع متحفًا مفتوحًا لاحتوائه على العديد من المباني التراثية والأثرية، كما أنه يضم مجمعًا لدور العبادة للأديان من الكنيسة المرقسية أقدم الكنائس بإفريقيا، ومعبد إلياهو اليهودي، بالإضافة إلى مسجدي النبي دانيال وعبد الرزاق الوفاقي المسجل بالتراث.
ويمثل شارع النبي دانيال منارة تثقيفية بالإسكندرية ومقصدًا للباحثين والطلاب والمثقفين بمختلف المجالات لما به من أكبر سوق لبيع الكتب المستعملة العربية والأجنبية والمترجمة.
وأشار محافظ الإسكندرية إلى أن الشارع يعد من الشوارع الحيوية لموقعه المتميز وربطه بين منطقتي محطة الرمل بمحطة مصر مما يجعله شريان حيوي طوال ساعات اليوم.
من جانبه، يقول محمد متولي مدير عام أثار الإسكندرية إن شارع النبي دانيال يعد من أقدم الشوارع بالعالم حيث إنه تم إنشاؤه ليكون نواه المدينة الذي أسسها الإسكندر الأكبر عام 331 قبل الميلاد، لذا فإن المشروع يعد من المشروعات المهمة لإعادة إحياء التراث الثقافي وإثراء الحركة السياحية بالمدينة لأقدم شوارع العالم
وأشار متولي إلى أن مشروع التطوير ورفع الكفاءة سيكون للشارع أثر إيجابي كبير وسيجعله مزار سياحي مفتوح لإبراز جزء هام من تاريخ المدينة خاصة وأنه على بعد أمتار قليلة من المتحف اليوناني الروماني الذي تم افتتاحه مؤخرا.
علق حسين محمد حسين صاحب أحد مكتبات بيع الكتب بالشارعقائلا: لقد عانينا منذ سنوات طويلة في الحصول على تراخيص لبيع الكتب، ولكن المشروع الذي تقوم به المحافظة حاليا سيعمل على تقنين أوضاع أصحاب المكتبات والترخيص لهم بعد توحيد شكل الأكشاك الخاصة بهم.
وأضاف عاطف عبد الجواد صاحب مكتبة لبيع الكتب بالشارع أن حي وسط الإسكندرية قام بحصر عدد أصحاب المكتبات بالشارع والذي يصل عددهم لـ 52 مكتبة وذلك تمهيدا لتوفير الأكشاك الخاصة بهم بعد توحيد شكلها ووضع نموذج لها، مشيرًا إلى أن العمل بالمشروع مستمر على مدار اليوم لإنهائه في أسرع وقت ممكن.
وأشار محمود حجازي صاحب كشك لبيع الكتب بالشارع إلى أن المشروع يساعد على تقنين أوضاعنا بعد أن كنا مهددين طوال السنوات الماضية، وذلك بتوحيد تصميم الأكشاك وتزويدها بالخدمات الأساسية من الكهرباء وتصميمه بشكل مميز وبمساحة داخلية واسعة، فضلا عن تصميم السقف الخاص به بشكل مائل لمواجهة مياه الأمطار خلال أيام النوات.

The Governor of Alexandria noted that the street is a vital street for its unique location and connects it between the Raml Station and other areas of Alexandria making it a vital artery throughout the day.
Mohammed Metwally, Director General of Alexandria, says that Daniel Street is one of the oldest in the world. It was created to be the noise of the city founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC. The project is therefore an important project to revive the cultural heritage and enrich the city’s tourist movement to the oldest streets in the world.
Metwally pointed out that the development and efficiency project will have a major positive impact on the street and will make it an open tourist attraction to highlight an important part of the city’s history, especially since it is only a few meters away from the Greco-Roman Museum, which was recently opened.
Hussein Muhammad Hussein, owner of one of the bookstores on the street, commented: We have suffered for many years in obtaining licenses to sell books, but the project that the governorate is currently undertaking will work to legalize the conditions of bookstore owners and license them after standardizing the shape of their kiosks.
Atef Abdel Gawad, the owner of a bookstore on the street, added that the Central Alexandria district has counted the number of bookstore owners on the street, which amount to 52, in preparation for providing their own kiosks after standardizing their shape and developing a model for them, indicating that work on the project continues throughout the day to complete it as quickly as possible.
