أشادت الدكتورة هالة السعيد وزيرة التخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية في لقاءها بالدكتور أشرف صبحي وزير الشباب والرياضة؛ لمناقشةالموقف التنفيذي لتشغيل مدينة مصر للألعاب الأولمبية بالعاصمةالإدارية الجديدة، و بحضور عدد من قيادات وزاراتا التخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية والشباب والرياضة والمالية.
واعربت عن تقديرها للجهود المبذولة للانتهاء من مدينة مصر الدوليةللألعاب الأولمبية بالعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة والتي تعد إحدىالصروح الرياضية المتميزة التي أنشأتها الدولة المصرية، مشيرًةإلى سلسلة اللقاءات التي تم عقدها لمتابعة أعمال تنفيذ المدينة.
وخلال اللقاء أوضحت الدكتورة هالة السعيد أن مثل تلك المدينة تمثلإضافة للساحة الرياضية والمنشآت الرياضية في مصر، وتعدالصرح الرياضي الأكبر في منطقة الشرق الأوسط متكامل الأركانوالخدمات.
وأكدت الدكتورة هالة السعيد أهمية قطاع الشباب والرياضة فيإسهامه في تحقيق أهداف التنمية الـمستدامة، حيث يُعتبر حجرالأساس لتنمية الشباب، خاصة وأن التربية البدنية تعمل على تنميةالـمهارات الشخصية وصقل قيم العمل الجماعي والـمشاركةالـمجتمعية.
وحول مُستهدفات قطاع الشباب والرياضة في خطة عام 23/2024،أوضحت السعيد أن الخطة تستهدف نحو 339 مشروع، تضم 159 مشروع استكمال و180 مشروع مُستهدف الانتهاء منها خلال عامالخطة.
ومن جانبه، أكد وزير الشباب والرياضة الدكتور أشرف صبحي أنمدينة مصر الدولية للألعاب الأوليمبية بالعاصمة الإدارية الجديدةإحدى الصروح الرياضية المتميزة التي أنشأتها الدولة المصرية فيالآونة الأخيرة،
وتمثل إضافة كبيرة إلى المنشآت الرياضية التيتتميز بها مصر، وتساهم في استضافة كبري المحافل الدولية،موضحًا أنها تُعد من الجيل الجديد من المنشآت الرياضية الذكية،وهي مُقامة علي مساحة 468 فدان،
وبها استاد يسع 92 ألفمتفرج، وصالتين مغطاة بإجمالي سعة 23 ألف متفرج، ومجمع صالات تنس وسباحة واسكواش، وصالات منافسات الرمايةوالفروسية.
وأشار الدكتور أشرف صبحي إلى أن مكونات المدينة مؤهلةلاستضافة دورة الألعاب الأفريقية ودورة الألعاب الأوليمبية فيالنسخ المستقبلية، استمراراً لاستضافة مصر للأحداث والبطولاتالدولية،
وتأكيداً على اهتمام القيادة السياسية بضرورة أن تمتلكالدولة المصرية منشآت رياضية طبقاً لأعلي المواصفات العالمية.
وتحدث الوزير عن امتلاك الدولة المصرية لخبرات كبيرة ومختلفة فيهذا الشأن، مؤكدًا أن التنمية الاقتصادية ورفع كفاءة الأداءالحكومي من خلال توفير الخدمات الشبابية والرياضية في مصرعن طريق تنمية الموارد في الهيئات الرياضية وصولًا للتمويل الذاتي وتنمية مفهوم الإدارة الإقتصادية والاستثمارية،
وتطوير إدارةالمنشآت الشبابية والرياضية وتعميق العلاقات الاستراتيجية معمؤسسات المجتمع المدني والقطاع الخاص من خلال نظم اقتصاديةمستحدثة، من أهم الأهداف الإستراتيجية التي تعمل عليها الدولةالمصرية.

Discussing the operating situation of the largest sports facility in the Middle East… the city of Egypt

Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, praised in her meeting with Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports; To discuss the executive position of operating the Egypt Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of a number of leaders from the Ministries of Planning, Economic Development, Youth, Sports, and Finance.
She expressed her appreciation for the efforts made to complete the Egypt International City for the Olympic Games in the New Administrative Capital, which is one of the distinguished sports edifices established by the Egyptian state, pointing to the series of meetings that were held to follow up on the work of implementing the city.
During the meeting, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed explained that such a city represents an addition to the sports arena and sports facilities in Egypt, and is the largest sports edifice in the Middle East region, complete with facilities and services.
Dr. Hala Al-Saeed stressed the importance of the youth and sports sector in its contribution to achieving sustainable development goals, as it is considered the cornerstone of youth development, especially since physical education works to develop personal skills and refine the values of teamwork and community participation.
Regarding the targets of the youth and sports sector in the 2023/2024 plan, Al-Saeed explained that the plan targets about 339 projects, including 159 completion projects and 180 projects targeted to be completed during the plan year.
For his part, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, confirmed that the Egypt International Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital is one of the distinguished sports edifices that the Egyptian state has recently established, and represents a great addition to the sports facilities that characterize Egypt, and contributes to hosting major international forums, explaining It is considered one of the new generation of smart sports facilities. It is built on an area of 468 acres and has a stadium with a capacity of 92,000 spectators, two covered halls with a total capacity of 23,000 spectators, a complex of tennis, swimming and squash halls, and halls for shooting and equestrian competitions.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi indicated that the city’s components are qualified to host the African Games and the Olympic Games in future editions, in continuation of Egypt’s hosting of international events and tournaments, and an emphasis on the political leadership’s interest in the necessity of the Egyptian state possessing sports facilities in accordance with the highest international standards.
The Minister spoke about the Egyptian state’s possession of great and various experiences in this regard, stressing that economic development and raising the efficiency of government performance is through providing youth and sports services in Egypt by developing resources in sports bodies to achieve self-financing, developing the concept of economic and investment management, and developing the management of youth and sports facilities. Deepening strategic relations with civil society institutions and the private sector through innovative economic systems is one of the most important strategic goals that the Egyptian state is working on.
